How It Works

One Post Per Day

You can release one sigh per day (max 280 characters). Your post lives for 24 hours and then disappears forever.

No Accounts, No Profiles

There are no user accounts, no profiles, no followers, and no likes. Just you and your truth.

Three Reactions

People can react to your post with one of three responses. Each person can only react once per post.

Daily Match

Every day, you receive one random post from someone else. You can:

  • React to it (one of the three reactions)
  • Send a sealed reply (max 140 characters, one-time only)

There is no chat. No back-and-forth conversations. However, if someone replies to your post, you can send them ONE sealed reply back. This creates a connection without the pressure of ongoing dialogue.

New users: Your first daily match will be assigned within a few minutes of joining. Our system runs every 10 minutes to match new users with posts. If you don't see a match yet, check back soon!
Daily reset: New matches are assigned each day at midnight. You'll always have one match waiting for you when you return.
Reply flow: When someone replies to your post, you'll see it in your inbox. You can then send them ONE sealed reply back. After that, the conversation is sealed - no more back-and-forth. This keeps connections meaningful but not overwhelming.

Your Inbox

Your inbox shows:

  • Your posts with reaction counts and view statistics
  • Sealed replies to your posts (you can reply once to each)

About Cookies

Your identity is stored in a cookie on this device.

We use a secure cookie called sighrly_device to identify your device. This cookie:

  • Is required for the service to work
  • Stores a unique device ID (UUID)
  • Is secure and HTTP-only
  • Expires after 1 year

Important: If you clear your cookies or switch devices, you will lose access to your inbox. This is by design - your data lives only on this device.

Privacy

We don't collect personal information. We don't track you across sites. We don't sell your data.

Posts are automatically deleted after 24 hours. Reactions and replies are permanently associated with posts, so they disappear when posts expire.

This is a space for temporary truths, not permanent records.

Why No Chat?

Sighrly is designed to be a space for release, not conversation. The sealed reply system allows for connection without the pressure of ongoing dialogue.

Sometimes you just need to be heard, not debated. Sometimes you just need to respond once, not engage forever.

This is that space.
